I’ve been playing around with an AI image program to make character art. Lessons learned:

1: AI is crap at aliens — the more alien, the worse the AI does
2: AI defaults to women with enormous boobs and skimpy clothes. To the point where it doesn’t seem to understand that I don’t want those things.
3: AI does not know the word androgynous
4: Always count how many fingers a person has. The number may shock you.
5: AI does not understand four eyes. First you get glasses. Then you get people with anywhere from 2 to 6 eyes. Seriously AI, why do you give me 6 eyes?

All that being said, I’m just making these images for fun. Some definitely turned out better than others. I thought I’d share some of them.

First up: Madrigan Farovan, the mind-reading pirate from Thousand Eye Universe:

He is putting his fingers beside his head, which I say in the book is something mind-readers don’t do but are shown that way in movies. But I can’t think of how else to make him look dynamic, so he’s doing what he doesn’t do lol.
