That Moment When You Figure Out How to Make Your Story Work

This is the happy moment. You get so excited you have to write out the details, because you’re writing crazy fast and can’t actually keep up with your thoughts and are afraid of forgetting some of it.

Characters A and B (not their real names) got up to shenanigans that are supposed to be really problematic. Until now, that really wasn’t the case. I said it was a problem, but even I didn’t believe it. I have now figured out how to really cause trouble.

This means I need to do extensive re-writes of Thousand Eye books 5 – 7. Yay? (Not so yay about all the work. Feeling yay about the new plot that sucks less.)

——-

I have now fixed the problems, and the revised version of Optimizing Family is available on all platforms.

Optimizing Family

Traditional fantasy worlds are shit. The technology is pathetic, the magic is too showy, the beer tastes like piss, and demon kings don’t drown in paperwork.

Mika will see his brother on the throne of Demonia. People can argue and conspire all they want, but Mika will stop at nothing. It’s what he always wanted. Keeping the rest of his family safe while doing that: that’s going to prove more difficult.
